This blog gives an in-depth view of the first step mentioned in my blog Came up with a great Business Idea? which is about 6 steps to validate a Business Idea. Here we will go through 3 steps to identify and validate the problem.1.Without market validation you’ll have a product that no one will pay for. Step 1 — Write down the problem, not a specific solution You want to be able to clearly articulate a problem that you or others experience regularly.
In this blog, you will figure out the WHAT of problem, WHO of problem, HOW of identifying and validating the problem.I will be explaining this with the help of interesting examples and correlations.Let’s say your (eventual) target buyer is the CEO of a small business.Their top 5 problems might look something like this: If you’re planning to launch a social media tool, you can see that’s NOT a tier 1 (top 3) problem for the typical CEO of a small business — it’s #5 on their list. You want to be able to write down your problem in a simple statement.
A few examples: You get the idea — keep it basic and refine the problem until you can articulate it with one sentence. : error MSB3428: Could not load the Visual C component "VCBuild.exe". Hi , did like mentioned above, installed windows 8.1 skd (compiler came with vs 2015 installation, BTW only done because of nw-gyp errors ), set the studio version, now the error was about missing header files (stddef.h etc) , looking it up i realized that they only resided in windows Kits\include, tried to copy them and got lots of typecast errors , so are there other header files vor the 8.1 sdk ( read on the ms-page that they redisigned the whole system with VS 2015 ), and if where do i get them from ??? In this post I will draw on what I’ve learned over the years, through first-hand experiences and other sources and leave you with a validation framework that I hope you’ll be able to use. In fact, it’s possibly one of the hardest things you will ever do in your product life cycle, otherwise products and startups wouldn’t have the abysmal 90% failure rate they’ve become famous for. This is the question that haunts many entrepreneurs and demotivates them from working on their business Idea.
