And by the end of the game, the last minute – to be exact- I had a better idea as to what was going on, which made it all so much more exciting especially when Malcolm Butler intercepted in the goal line changing the fate of the game making Patriots the winner of the Super Bowl of 2015.All in all it was so much fun, even though Dwight- a Sea Hawks fan- wasn’t thrilled with the Patriots winning the game.I carefully chose a table, placed my order and watched as guests came and went.

It’s really just a matter of roasting the walnuts, softening the dates and pressing it into a pan.
We stopped and sheltered from the midday north African sun in the shaded cafe for refreshments, I had the iced milk with sweet dates and orange blossom. Orange blossom milk 2 glasses of cold milk 6 ice cubes 6 dates (without stones) 2 tsp orange blossom water Fine grated zest or 1 orange Cinnamon to dust Pour 1 glass of milk in a blender with the dates and ice, finely grate over the orange zest so some of the fresh orange oil gets in to the milk and then blend until the dates and ice cubes are finely chopped.
Divide the date mixture between the two glasses then add a teaspoon of orange blossom water to each and top up with the rest of the milk.

This scone recipe is an ode to my first day in Hong Kong and to the tradition of High Tea. I have added a splash of orange blossom water to this recipe which imparts a beautiful floral note to the finished product.I quickly made my , which has been my go-to cookbook for the last 3 months.I think I can safely say that I tried more than 25 recipes from the book and every single one of them turned out wonderfully. The first time I made it was in the beginning of the winter season when the first harvest of Florida oranges came to the supermarkets on the island. This Sunday was the first time that I watched the Super Bowl from beginning to the end.Dwight and I literally sat in front of the TV the whole time, ate lots of good food, drank beer, and enjoyed the commercials. But I felt great as I have been wanting to learn the rules of the game for a while now and feel as though I understand it much more than before.
